Ziad Peerwani is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in hematopathology and laboratory medicine. Currently serving as the Medical Director at the Cleveland Clinic Reference Laboratory, Ziad has held leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer at Union71 and Consultant Hematopathologist at Tawam Hospital, where responsibilities also included serving as Chairman and Acting Chairman of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Previous positions include Hematopathologist at Baylor All Saints Medical Center, Chair of the Hematology Subcouncil, and Physician Informatics Leader, along with completing a fellowship and residency at the Cleveland Clinic. Ziad holds an MD from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a BS in Biology from Tufts University.
