Thyran Nowden, MA, is a seasoned professional in the sports management field, currently serving as a Group Event Specialist for the Cleveland Cavaliers since June 2022. Previously, Thyran held a similar role with the Columbus Blue Jackets from June 2021 to June 2022, and prior to that, worked as a Senior Account Executive at The Ohio State University from August 2019 to July 2021. Thyran began the career as an Account Executive at the Akron RubberDucks from January 2017 to August 2019. Earlier experiences include a position within the Kent State Athletic Department from August 2015 to December 2016 and mentorship at Bowling Green State University from August 2012 to May 2014. Thyran holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s Degree in Sport and Recreation Management from Kent State University.
