Christopher Kaiser

Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at Cleveland Cavaliers

Christopher Kaiser has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Christopher is currently the SVP, Chief Marketing Officer at the Cleveland Cavaliers, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President, Marketing from June 2020 to June 2022 and as the Senior Director, Marketing from August 2018 to June 2020, both at the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Before joining the Cavaliers, Kaiser worked as the Director, Marketing & Brand Strategy for the Phoenix Suns from May 2015 to August 2018. Prior to that, they were employed by the University of Michigan Athletic Department, where they held various positions. Christopher served as the Associate Director of Marketing from July 2013 to May 2015, overseeing CRM offerings, monitoring marketing effectiveness, and managing paid media and advertising. Before that, they worked as the Assistant Director of Marketing Partnerships from February 2011 to July 2013, handling sponsor accounts and enforcing brand guidelines.

Kaiser's early experience includes a role as a Graduate Assistant at The Institute for Diversity and Ethics and Sport from August 2009 to December 2010. In this role, they conducted research on hiring practices in various sports leagues and compiled statistics on diversity and graduation rates in Division I institutions.

Throughout their career, Kaiser has demonstrated expertise in marketing, brand strategy, CRM, and advertising.

Christopher Kaiser has completed a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Christopher has also earned a Master's degree in Sport Business Management from the same university. Prior to that, Christopher Kaiser obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from SUNY Geneseo. It is unknown if they pursued any formal education at the University of South Carolina.
