William Ruiz Civetta is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in power plant operations and energy efficiency. Currently serving as a Research Development Mechanical Engineer at Cleaver-Brooks since October 2022, William collaborates on the R&D of boilers and performs detailed thermodynamic and mechanical design analyses. Previous roles include Power Engineer at the Combined Cycle Thermal Power Plant, where supervision of main and auxiliary equipment for a 230 MWe station was performed, and Chief Engineer at a Coal-fired Thermal Power Plant, managing activities for a 437 MWe facility. William also has experience as an Adviser on Energy Efficiency at Universidad del Norte, analyzing energy performance indicators, and has held various technical management positions in maintenance and project planning. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma del Caribe, a Master's degree in Renewable Energies from VIU, and a Diploma in Energy Efficient Management from Universidad del Atlántico.
