Nicolas Croisard

Senior Spacecraft System Engineer at ClearSpace

Nicolas Croisard has extensive work experience in the aerospace and engineering industry. Nicolas is currently working as a Senior Spacecraft System Engineer at ClearSpace since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Inmarsat as a Principal Engineer from June 2022 to February 2023. From September 2020 to June 2022, they held the position of Principal Systems Engineer at UK Launch Services Limited. Previously, they worked at McLaren Applied as a Technical Team Lead from June 2019 to September 2020, and as a Senior Simulation Engineer from July 2018 to June 2019. Before their time at McLaren Applied, they worked at Airbus in various roles, including Mechanical AIT engineer from January 2018 to June 2018, Lead System Engineer from February 2015 to December 2017, and System Engineer from March 2012 to February 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Astrium as a Mission Analyst and AOCS Engineer from December 2009 to March 2012. Nicolas started their career as a PhD Student at the University of Glasgow - Space A.R.T. from February 2006 to November 2009. Nicolas also worked as a Junior Engineer at GECI System from January 2004 to February 2006, and as a Mechanical Engineer at EADS ST from 2004 to 2006.

Nicolas Croisard has a strong education background in the field of aerospace engineering. Nicolas pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, which they completed between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Astronautics & Space Engineering from Cranfield University in 2003. Nicolas Croisard also holds an Ingenieur degree in Aeronautic Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO, which they earned from 2000 to 2003. Moreover, they have obtained a certification in Design Thinking: Venture Design from LinkedIn in February 2020.
