Nicholas Curtis currently serves as Associate Director of ESG Scores at Sustainable Fitch, specializing in the assignment of ESG scores for high-yield debt issuers in the European and North American CLO markets since March 2022. Prior to this role, Nicholas was an Analyst at Energy Profiles Limited, focusing on energy, water, waste, and greenhouse gas emissions reporting for major commercial real estate investment trusts. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at the Bank of Canada, where Nicholas investigated the labor market impacts of industrial automation, and an Economic Research Assistant role at Wilfrid Laurier University, studying Vietnamese household businesses. Nicholas holds a Master's degree in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets from the Barcelona School of Economics and completed an Honours degree in Economics and Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University, along with studies in Global Business at Akita International University and participation in an International Summer School at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
