John H. has a long and varied work experience. John began their career in 1994 as an Enlisted Marine with the United States Marine Corps. During this time, they were meritoriously promoted to Sergeant by BGen Mashburn in 1998. In 2004, John H. became a Marine Company Commander, Platoon Commander, and Squadron Intelligence Officer with the Marines. In 2010, they were a Collections Operations Officer, ISAF Regional Command Southwest with the Marines. In 2011, they were a Student at the Naval Postgraduate School, completing their MS in Information Systems and Technology while working towards an Information Sciences PhD. John'sthesis completed a theoretical examination of collaborative filters as a means of improving collective intelligence on the MCISR-E. In 2013, they were a Cybersecurity Division Operations Officer with Headquarters Marine Corps. In 2015, they were an Intelligence Officer with the 3rd Marine Regiment. In 2017, they were a Systems Analyst with Unisys. Finally, from 2018 to present, they have been a Cyber-Enabled IO, Director, Offensive Cyber Programs, Cyber Mission Manager, and Senior OCO/Intel Planner with Clear Ridge Defense.
John H. began their educational journey in 1999 when they enrolled at Penn State University. During their time there, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in The Administration of Justice. In 2011, they returned to school and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Technology Management from The United States Naval Postgraduate School in 2013. John is currently enrolled at The United States Naval Postgraduate School, where they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Sciences (incomplete, abd).
