Sebastian Sarria is a Senior Regulatory Analyst specializing in Building Decarbonization at the California Public Utilities Commission since June 2023. Sarria serves as a Selections Volunteer and Curriculum Lead Advisor at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and leads the San Diego Chapter while being a member of the National Leadership Team for Latinxs in Sustainability. Previous roles include Policy Manager and Program and Policy Coordinator at San Diego Community Power, National Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, and Team Lead for a Capstone Project at Candela Renewables, LLC. Sarria's background includes various positions focused on sustainability and clean energy, starting as a Program Assistant in the Sustainability Department of the City of San Diego and a Clean Energy Coordinator at Climate Action Campaign. Sarria holds a Master of Public Policy with a focus on Environment and Energy from UC San Diego, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on International Environmental Politics from the University of Central Florida, and an Associate of Arts in International Affairs from Valencia College.
