Rozina Kanchwala has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations and roles. Rozina started their career as a Fulbright Scholar in 2007 and went on to work as a Project Manager at Aga Khan Foundation UK. Rozina then founded and served as the Head Counselor at Camp Eco.Logic, an environmental education program. Rozina also worked at Solar San Antonio as a Policy Analyst before joining Clean Energy Leadership Institute as a Fellow.
In their role as a Fellow, Rozina completed a 14-week fellowship program and remained engaged in networking and educational events in the clean energy sector. Rozina also had multiple roles at GRID Alternatives, where they were the Community Outreach Coordinator and later became the Outreach Manager. At Solar Energy Trade Shows, LLC, Rozina served as the Education Content Development Manager and later as the Senior Manager of Education and Sustainability.
Rozina founded Eco.Logic Programs, where they served as the Founder and Executive Director, inspiring environmental action through education and practical solutions. Currently, they are working at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute as the Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Rozina also holds the role of Director of Energy Justice Partnerships in the same organization. Throughout their career, Rozina has demonstrated a commitment to environmental sustainability and a passion for empowering diverse voices in the clean energy sector.
Rozina Kanchwala has a diverse education history. Rozina obtained their Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Afterward, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Islamic Studies and Humanities at the Institute of Ismaili Studies. Subsequently, they earned a Master's Degree in Environment and Sustainable Development from UCL.
In addition to their formal education, Rozina has obtained several certifications. Rozina acquired the LEED Green Associate certification from Green Business Certification, Inc. in May 2018. In April 2016, they completed a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program accredited by the World Yoga Alliance. Most recently, in October 2022, they obtained a certification titled "Towards Resilient & Equitable Food Systems" from Eco.Logic Programs.
