Previous experience includes roles as a policy consultant for NOAA, where Kate improved shellfish aquaculture regulatory processes, and a series of managerial positions at Harvard Book Store, overseeing event logistics and media relations. Early career experiences include internship positions in fiscal sustainability for King County, podcasting for WGBH, and a summer internship with U.S. Senator Ron Wyden. Kate Brouns holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Policy from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Hamilton College.
