Walt Michlanski, M.A. CISM, is an experienced Information Security Specialist currently managing IT Security at Clean Energy since November 2023. With extensive expertise in cybersecurity, including MSSP, Sumo Logic, and compliance with frameworks such as NIST800-53 and CIS 18, Walt oversees various aspects of IT security, data protection, and vendor risk management. As a co-owner of NOVUS Glass, operational since March 2019, Walt also brings entrepreneurial experience in remote windshield repair services. Previously, Walt held positions as Senior Information Security Analyst at Fairfield Residential and IT Risk Management/Compliance Specialist at BD, overseeing significant IT security initiatives, audits, and risk management. Walt began an IT career at The Hartford, progressing through several roles from IT Consultant to UNIX Administrator, while also acquiring a Master's degree in Leadership from Azusa Pacific University and a BSIS in Information Systems.
