Jaime Pumarejo is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in urban development and sustainability. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Breathe Cities under the Clean Air Fund, Jaime also holds positions as a Senior Fellow at the Inter-American Dialogue and a member of the Global Commission on Nature Positive Cities with the World Economic Forum. Additional roles include participation in the Commission for Urban SDG Finance with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and an Advisory Board membership with the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Previously, Jaime served as the Mayor of Barranquilla and held leadership positions such as Minister of Housing, Cities and Territory Development, Manager of City Development, and Secretary of Mobility. Jaime's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Management from Purdue University and an International Executive MBA from IE Business School.
