John Andres is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in preconstruction and development operations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Preconstruction at Clayco since December 2019, John previously held the position of President and Owner at RED Design Build until December 2021. John also has experience as a Real Estate Investor at REDIZING.COM and served as Vice President of Commercial Services at Thompson Thrift, where John successfully scaled the commercial construction group to an average of $28 million per year. Additional notable roles include key positions at Armada Hoffler Construction Company, Lauth Property Group, MD Rowe Construction, and Weddle Bros. Construction Companies. John holds a BFA in Architecture from The University of Texas at San Antonio and has developed a diverse portfolio, notably leading the development of Lauth's most profitable project, the French Lick Resort and Casino.
