Andreas Lysholt Mathiasen is an experienced educator and professional with a specialization in language instruction and climate change policy. Currently serving as an Underviser at Studieskolen and Kursusleder at CLAVIS sprog & kompetence, Andreas has a strong background in teaching Danish as a second language, including specialized courses for medical practitioners and refugees. Previous experience includes significant roles with the Department of Foreign Affairs - Government of Greenland, focusing on climate change negotiations and policy development. Additionally, Andreas has worked as a translator and analyst, covering topics related to Islam and radicalization, and has taught at various educational institutions, including the University of Copenhagen and Ilisimatusarfik. Andreas holds both a BA and MA in Arabic and Middle East Studies from the University of Copenhagen.
