Pedro Lages is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of biotechnology, intellectual property, and higher education. Currently serving as Provedor do Estudante at Universidade de Aveiro since February 2023 and as an IP Senior Consultant at ClarkeModet since April 2022, Pedro has previously held significant positions including Strategic Planning at Renova SA and R&D and Innovation Consultant at PwC Portugal. With a background as a Patent Examiner at INPI, involvement in international cooperation projects, and contributions to academic accreditation through A3ES, Pedro possesses a strong foundation in patent legislation and project management. Educationally, Pedro holds a Master's degree in Economics and Management of Science, Technology and Innovation from ISEG and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, alongside a Licentiate degree in Biotechnology from Universidade de Aveiro.
