Patty Tainter is an experienced museum professional with a strong background in registration and exhibition management. Currently serving as Senior Registrar at Clark Art Institute since May 2020, Tainter previously held the role of Associate Registrar at the same institution. Other notable positions include Assistant Registrar at Jenny Holzer Studio and Associate Registrar for Exhibitions at the Dallas Museum of Art. Tainter's career began with internships at various prestigious organizations, including the Judd Foundation and the Guggenheim-Asher Associates. Tainter holds an M.A. in Museum Studies from New York University and a B.A. in Art History from Barnard College.
