Mikel Alvarez is an experienced product management professional currently serving as the Director of Product and Head of the consumer segment at Clarity AI since December 2021. Mikel has held various leadership roles at Amazon since November 2014, including Head of Retail Product Management and Selection for the UAE and Saudi Arabia, as well as leadership positions focused on the Italian and Spanish markets. At Amazon, Mikel managed multidisciplinary teams and had full P&L responsibility for the Sports category, consistently exceeding financial targets. Prior to Amazon, Mikel worked at McKinsey & Company as a Junior Engagement Manager, overseeing strategic consultancy projects across multiple industries and countries, and developed expertise in supply chain management and process optimization.
