Laurent Sorieul has a diverse work experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry. Laurent is currently working as the Commercial Strategy Director Europe at Groupe Clarins. Before that, they were the Business Development Director at NEC + ULTRA COSMETICS, where they managed premium and mass market brands. Prior to that, they served as the Retail Business Unit Manager for France at Whirlpool EMEA. Laurent also had a long career at L'Oréal, where they held various positions including Director of Business Development in France, General Manager of the Consumer Division in Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia, General Manager of Sales in Russia, and Sales Director for the Central and Eastern Europe Zone. Laurent also worked at Garnier Maybelline as the Fieldforce Director and Senior Key Account Manager in France and at L'Oréal Paris as the Director of Category Management. Their early career was at Lascad, Laboratoires Garnier, where they worked as a Marketing Group Manager for haircare and styling, and as a Product Manager for body care and haircare. Overall, Laurent has extensive experience in business development, sales management, and marketing in the beauty industry.

Laurent Sorieul holds a Master's degree in Marketing & Human Resources from ESCP Business School, which they pursued from 1989 to 1991. Following this, they attended Drexel University from 1991 to 1992, where they obtained an MBA degree with a specialization in Marketing. In 2005, they participated in a program called Global Leadership for Growth - CEDEP at INSEAD, focusing on management. In 1993, they also received training as an Officer in Logistics from the French Army.
