Kevin Clancy

Kevin joined the company in 1968 and trained as a civil engineer at Hatfield Polytechnic, while working at the company part-time. After graduating in 1972, aged 22, Kevin began working full-time as a site engineer and progressed through various responsibilities and promotions until he became contracts director. Following the death of his father and founder of the company Michael J. Clancy he was appointed Joint Managing Director of The Clancy Group, a position he held until 2009 when he became Chairman.

Kevin has responsibility for the construction and utility side of the business. He is currently president of the Pipeline Industry Guild and is a member of the Lighthouse Club Committee (the Construction Industry Charity).

When he is not at work Kevin enjoys following rugby and wine around the world. He has five children and lives with his wife Mary in Farnham Royal where he keeps twelve chickens and three hives of bees. His son Michael is now also involved in the business as Facilities Manager.
