Shakal Shukla has worked in a variety of roles across multiple companies. Shakal started their career in 2003 as a Trainee Engineer - Aeronautics at Avish Aviation Equipment Pvt. Ltd. In 2004, they moved to Infospectrum Inc. as a Sr Quality Analyst. In 2011, they joined Persistent Systems, where they held the role of Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, Senior Team Lead, and Team Lead. In 2022, they became a Senior Project Manager at Claim Genius.

Shakal Shukla has a diverse educational background. Shakal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engg. from G. H. Raisoni College of Engg, Nagpur University, and a Masters in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Institute of Management Technology & Research, Nagpur University. Shakal also has certifications from Persistent Systems Certified Scrum Master, Certification from "Software Quality Testing Lab (SQTL)" as a Certified Software Quality Test Engineer (SQTE), Certification of Computer Society of India as a Certified Software Quality Testing Analyst (SQTA), International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) as an ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level, and Persistent Certified Agile PMP as an Agile Project Management Professional (Agile scrum master advance level).
