Dhruval Bhatt Patel is a data science professional with a strong background in data analytics, engineering, and teaching. Currently serving as Applied Data Science II at Civis Analytics since September 2021, Dhruval has designed and implemented data solutions for public sector clients. Previous experience includes a contract role as Data Analytics and Internal Process Consultant at Pinecone Tech Solutions and responsibilities as Co-Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Chicago. Dhruval holds a Master of Arts in Computational Social Science from the University of Chicago, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, alongside a Corporate Entrepreneurship Certification from the same institution. Early career experience at GE Power included roles as Controls Engineer and participation in the Edison Engineering Development Program, complemented by internships that developed engineering and research skills.
