Kristen Uroda is an experienced Design Lead and Senior Design Researcher at Civilla, specializing in leading research strategies that align user needs with strategic priorities through qualitative and quantitative methods. With a strong background in managing multiple work streams and contributing to high-quality deliverables, Kristen has also held roles as a Design Researcher and Design Research Fellow, focusing on creative research, ethnographic interviews, and data synthesis. Additionally, Kristen has worked as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer since 2011, collaborating with various organizations to visualize and communicate complex concepts. Early experience includes teaching art and supporting student development as an After School Kindergarten Teacher and K-5 Art Teacher. Kristen holds a Master of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
