Mike Beason holds extensive experience in leadership and operations within the Civil Air Patrol, serving as the Director of UAS for the South Dakota Wing, Inspector General, and former Director of Finance. Additionally, Mike has fulfilled roles such as Interim Wing Commander and Commander, where responsibilities included managing budgets, coordinating training, and overseeing member activities. With a background as a Command Pilot, Mike achieved a milestone of 6,000 flight hours and has actively volunteered with organizations like Black Hills Ski for Light and Habitat for Humanity. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University and a Master's in Business Science from Troy State University.
