Brian Volpe, PE, SE, LEED AP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Brian started their career as a Field Engineer at Hubbell Roth and Clark, where they performed field inspections and managed various civil works projects. Brian then worked as an Engineer at Ross Steel, where they gained further experience in structural design. After that, they joined Ruby + Associates, Inc as a Project Manager, overseeing projects from August 1999 to March 2008.
In 2008, Brian Volpe joined Thornton Tomasetti as a Vice President and played a crucial role in developing and expanding the firm's Construction Engineering practice. Their expertise includes structural design and management, advanced project delivery, integrated modeling, structural steel connection design, and construction engineering. Brian worked at Thornton Tomasetti until September 2016.
Currently, Brian Volpe holds the position of Chief Engineer at Cives Corporation, which they started in September 2016.
Brian Volpe, PE, SE, LEED AP began their education at Portage Central High School, where they completed their high school studies. Brian then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Architecture at Lawrence Technological University from 1993 to 2001. Additionally, they concurrently pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering at Lawrence Technological University from 1993 to 1999.
