Kirk Thompson is an experienced professional currently serving as Operating Partner at City+Ventures, overseeing projects such as the Omaha Supernovas, 88 Tactical, Rocket Carwash, and City+Ventures Health since January 2021. In addition to this role, Kirk holds a board member position at Rocket Carwash since October 2022 and has been a partner at 88 Tactical since 2018. Prior experience includes coaching roles at the University of Nebraska at Omaha's men's hockey team, where Kirk served as Men's Hockey Goalie Coach and Volunteer Assistant Hockey Coach from July 2016 to April 2021. Kirk's academic achievements include a Master of Science and a Graduate Certificate in Public Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the same institution. Additional experience includes a Tactical Training Center internship with the Vancouver Police Department and work with the City of Vancouver in traffic operations.
