Tarra Mitchell, Ed.D., currently serves as the Executive Director at City Year and previously held the position of Executive Director/SVP at City Year Seattle / King County. With a strong background in education leadership, Tarra has also worked as an Adjunct at Seattle University and has significant experience in Seattle Public Schools, where roles included Director of Special Education and Principal. Additionally, Tarra served as Principal in the Marysville School District 25. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at the University of Washington, Tarra also holds an Administrative Certification (Principal) from Western Washington University.
