Richard R. White is the Vice Chancellor for Risk, Audit and Compliance at City University of New York. Richard has previously worked as the Deputy Secretary for Public Safety and Homeland Security to New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, managing the Governor’s major public safety and homeland security priorities consisting of various agencies with a combined workforce of over 36,000 employees and an annual budget of more than $5.5 billion dollars.

In their role as Vice Chancellor for Risk, Audit and Compliance at City University of New York, White is responsible for overseeing all risk management, audit and compliance functions for the University.

Richard R. White is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, where they earned a BA in Economics. Richard also earned a JD from Delaware Law School and an Executive Education from Harvard Kennedy School.
