Galia Galansky currently serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources at The City University of New York, providing leadership in the advancement of university human resources and the implementation of technology systems. Previously, Galia held the position of Assistant Vice President and Executive Director of Human Resources at Hunter College, where responsibilities included strategic HR planning and professional development programs. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Commissioner for the New York City Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications and the New York City Department of Finance, focusing on HR management and personnel budgeting. Galia's earlier career involved administration of grants at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center and clinical management in healthcare settings. Galia holds an MBA in Industrial and Organizational Development from Baruch College and has advanced degrees in psychology from New York University and Touro University.
