Gregory Docekal is a Geographic Information Systems Manager at the City of Woodstock, Georgia, since February 2023, overseeing GIS operations. Prior to this role, Gregory served as a Senior GIS Analyst at Tetra Tech from March 2020 to February 2023, managing GIS activities for various projects, supporting disaster response efforts, and providing training on GIS software. Gregory also held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, contributing to courses in Geographic Information Systems and Earth Sciences. Early experience included roles as a Weather Forecaster at White Squirrel Weather and a Student Researcher in the WKU Meteorology department, with a focus on aerosol formation and weather impacts. Gregory holds a Master of Arts in Geography and a Graduate Certificate in GIS&T from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Western Kentucky University, where a minor in Business Administration was also completed.
