Mark A. Arnold has a diverse and extensive background in facilities management, architectural design, and structural engineering. Serving as Facilities Manager for the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government since September 1999, Mark oversees design, construction, and maintenance for over 60 properties. In addition, Mark has been connected with Master Plan since 1981, specializing in house plans and designs, showcasing over 32 years of architectural and structural expertise. Mark also holds the position of Historic Preservation Commissioner for the City of Winchester, appointed in 2010. Earlier in their career, Mark worked as a Structural Engineering Technician at Poage Engineering, Inc. from 1979 to 1999, contributing to the design of various projects across education, healthcare, and commercial sectors. Mark's educational background includes studies at Lexington Technical Institute, Murray State University, and the University of Kentucky.
