Brian Renner currently serves as the Neighborhood Compliance Manager and Chief Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Wilmington, NC since May 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Inspector (Forestry) and Zoning and Licensing Inspector with the City of Indianapolis-Department of Business and Neighborhood Services from January 2016 to May 2019. Additionally, Brian worked as a Law Enforcement Supervisor/Military Police for the United States Department of Defense from September 2010 to September 2015. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with a focus on Sustainability Studies from Indiana University Indianapolis, completed between 2015 and 2018, and also attended Purdue University Fort Wayne from 2008 to 2010.
