Sophia Hosford is an experienced political professional currently serving as a Campaign Fellow for the Democratic Party of Virginia, working on the 2024 victory for key Democratic candidates. In addition, Sophia is a Board Member on the University Admission Policy Advisory Committee at William & Mary, an Election Officer for the City of Williamsburg, and a Review Board Member for the William & Mary Student Assembly. Previous internships include roles at Cassidy & Associates, where projects spanned multiple areas including cybersecurity and energy, Gilibrand for Senate focusing on donor outreach, and the United States Senate under Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, where Sophia contributed to speech drafting and media tracking. Additional experience includes a field internship with the Virginia State Senate and a research position at the National Press Club. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from William & Mary and participated in an international study program at Charles University.
