Bill Peard is an experienced leader currently serving as the Mayor of Waukee since January 2007, and as the Executive Vice President at the Iowa Cable and Telecommunication Association since February 2014. Previously, Bill held the position of Senior Manager of Government Relations at Mediacom Communications from July 2002 to February 2014 and served as a City Council Member in Waukee from November 1998 to November 2006. Bill began a career in sales as a Key Account Executive at American Greetings from July 1989 to July 2002. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Nebraska at Kearney between 1980 and 1984.
