Brandon Slifka is an experienced professional in athletic field maintenance and groundskeeping, currently serving as a Laborer for the City of Urbandale since April 2019. Responsibilities include operating mowers for athletic fields, enforcing park rules, and preparing fields for events. Previous roles include Groundskeeper for Carthage R9 School District, where Brandon managed landscaping and athletic field preparation, and Marketing & Promotions Intern with Iowa Wolves, facilitating fan engagement and promotions. Brandon also gained valuable experience as a Park Conservation Intern at Howard County Conservation, focusing on park enhancements and wildlife preservation. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management and Business Administration – Marketing from Grand View University, obtained cum laude.
