Taylor Simkins is an experienced wastewater treatment plant operator currently employed by the City of Ukiah since June 2022. Prior to this role, Taylor served as a laboratory manager at Anderson Valley Brewing Company from November 2018 to July 2022, where responsibilities included developing a QA/QC program and ensuring compliance with organic and federal regulations. As a quality control manager at Sonoma Beverage Works from October 2014 to April 2018, Taylor built a QA/QC program from scratch and maintained various compliance measures. Earlier work experience includes positions as a sales/administrative assistant at Sonoma Horticultural Nursery and a lab technician at Bear Republic Brewing Company. Taylor's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, obtained in 2010.
