Yamil Encarnacion is a highly experienced law enforcement professional, currently serving as a Patrol Officer, K-9 Handler, Field Training Officer, and Social Media Coordinator with the Twinsburg Police Department since February 2010. Prior experience includes serving as a Psychological Operations Sergeant with the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command during Operation Enduring Freedom, and as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force Officer with Ohio HIDTA, where numerous drug-related apprehensions and seizures were achieved. Additional roles include Deputy Sheriff and Narcotics Detective with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department, and various positions in the U.S. Army, including Army Recruiter and Infantry Soldier. Education was completed at Lincoln West High School with a High School Diploma in 1997.
