Jag Sharma is an experienced leader in municipal administration and community services, currently serving as the Deputy City Manager for Development and Growth Services at the City of Toronto. With a focus on expediting the development application review process to increase the availability of affordable housing, this role is critical for meeting newly legislated timelines. Previously, Jag held the position of President and CEO at Toronto Community Housing, the largest social housing provider in Canada, and served as Chief Administrative Officer for both the Town of Newmarket and the City of Oshawa, demonstrating strong fiscal responsibility and effective community service delivery. Jag's extensive background also includes leadership roles in operations and continuous improvement at organizations such as Canada Post, Fujitsu Consulting, and several major manufacturing companies. Jag holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University.
