Eleanor McAteer possesses extensive experience in water infrastructure management and engineering within the City of Toronto. Currently serving as the Director of Water Infrastructure Management since July 2019, Eleanor oversees a significant municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater utility, focusing on asset management, capital budget development, and policy creation. Previously, Eleanor held the position of Manager of Development Engineering for North York and worked as a Senior Engineer in Engineering and Construction Services from January 2009 to June 2019. Additionally, Eleanor contributed to the Canada Green Building Council as Project Director for the Tower Renewal initiative from 2008 to 2012. Eleanor earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
