Mohamed S. Mahmoud, P.E. is a professional engineer with extensive experience in building and project management. Currently serving as the Deputy Building Official for the City of Stockton, CA since March 2022, Mohamed previously worked for Domani Inspections Services, Inc. as an Associate Engineer and Field Project Manager, overseeing numerous residential and commercial projects including the Durst Pyramid and Hudson Yards Tower E. Additional experience includes roles as a Field Engineer at Municipal Testing Lab Inc., various commissioning consultant positions at Bestech GMP Contracting, Inc., and early engineering roles in customer service and design. Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University, completed in 2010.
