Kris Farro has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions in the fields of community services, recreation management, and operations. They most recently served as the Director of Community Services at the City of Stockton, CA since June 2022. Prior to that, Kris worked as a Recreation Manager at the City of Brentwood from November 2018 to June 2022. They also held the position of Recreation Superintendent at the City of Stockton, CA from February 2018 to November 2018. Before joining the public sector, Kris gained experience in the private sector as the Youth, Parties, Events & Rockwall Manager at Bladium Sports and Fitness Club - Alameda from March 2014 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, Kris worked for Tri-Valley YMCA, first as a Senior Program Director from September 2007 to July 2012, and later as a Branch Operations Director from July 2012 to December 2013. Kris also served as the Athletic Director at Holy Names High School from August 2005 to June 2007, and as the Director of Operations at Trilogy Productions from March 2002 to June 2005.
Kris Farro received a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration from California State University - East Bay between 1997 and 1999. Later, between 2004 and 2006, Kris completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from the same institution.
