Emily Strach is an experienced professional in strategy and policy development, with a career spanning multiple roles in government and education. Currently serving as Manager of Strategy and Policy Development at the City of Spruce Grove since July 2019, Emily has also held various managerial positions including Manager of Organizational Planning and Reporting, and Manager of Corporate Planning. Prior experience includes roles at Parkland County as a Corporate Planning and Intergovernmental Advisor, and at the Government of Alberta's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade as an Industry Development Officer. Emily's foundational experience in technology implementation and project management began with Alberta Education, where the focus was on optimizing information technology in K-12 education, and continued with positions at CCI Learning Solutions and Keywest Projects Ltd. Emily is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Athabasca University and holds a Bachelor of Technology from NAIT and a diploma in Administrative Information Management from SAIT.
