David Franz has a diverse background in education and community services. Currently serving as the Community Services Director for the City of Shafter, where David oversees various facilities and initiatives. In addition, David holds a position as Director of Education Partnership at Bakersfield College. David has experience as an instructor at Fresno Pacific University and the University of Virginia. David holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Ethics from Fresno Pacific University.
