Eric Renz-Whitmore is an experienced economic development professional currently serving as an Economic Development Specialist for the City of Santa Fe since January 2023. With a background in community building and entrepreneur support, Eric has held various leadership roles including Organizer for 1 Million Cups Albuquerque since 2014, Coordinator for Global Entrepreneurship Week New Mexico since June 2022, and Director of ESHIP Communities at Forward Cities from September 2019 to January 2021. Eric's work focuses on fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance business growth and development. Prior positions include Entrepreneur Development Manager for the City of Albuquerque and Community Developer at Emergent Wave. Eric holds a BA in International Relations from American University and has contributed to multiple organizations aimed at supporting innovation and economic vitality.
