Jennifer De Avila, EIT, is an accomplished engineer currently serving as an Assistant Engineer at the City of Santa Clarita since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked as a Civil Analyst at Kimley-Horn from February 2022 to March 2024, focusing on Mobility and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Jennifer began their career at Kimley-Horn as an ITS Intern in both June and July 2020, and again in June 2021. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant role at AIMS², contributing to Earthquake Engineering projects, and a Student Engineer position at LA Sanitation & Environment. Additionally, Jennifer held positions at Stumbaugh & Associates, Inc. as a Project Director and Project Assistant, and began a career in interior design as an Assistant at Plush Home. Jennifer holds a degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Northridge, and previously studied Engineering and Architecture at the College of the Canyons.
