Devon Cahill is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Adult Education Librarian for the Santa Barbara Public Library since January 2018, where leadership was demonstrated in establishing the Adult Education Program, integrating Adult Literacy, Career Online High School, and SBPL Works! workforce readiness programs. Previously, Devon held the position of Library Technician, assisting patrons in navigating library resources. Prior experience includes working as a Writing Center Tutor at Santa Barbara City College, focusing on one-on-one peer tutoring, and roles at the University of Minnesota as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Instructor, emphasizing student advisement and course instruction in modern Japanese literature. Devon's educational background includes a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University, along with multiple degrees in Asian Literatures and Studies, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University at Albany.
