Steve Sampson Brown is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering within municipal and state transportation sectors. Currently positioned as Project Manager for the City of Dubuque, Iowa since February 2006, Steve oversees various capital improvement projects, managing the entire design and construction process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining budget controls. Prior to this role, Steve served as a Project Engineer for the Connecticut Department of Transportation from 1994 to 2005, where responsibilities included designing roadway projects and infrastructure improvements. Steve's career began in military service as a Combat Engineer in the US Army from 1986 to 1989. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, obtained between 1989 and 1994.
