Christy Shostal currently serves as the GIS Coordinator in the Department of Public Works for the City of Rochester, MN, a position held since March 2015, following a tenure as GIS Specialist in the same department. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. GIS Specialist at Barr Engineering from November 2007 to March 2015, and GIS Specialist at Houston Engineering, Inc. from January 2001 to October 2007. Earlier in Christy Shostal's career, there was also experience as Subdivision/Development Officer at the Municipal District of Foothills No. 31 from April 1999 to August 2000. Christy Shostal is pursuing a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership at Concordia University Chicago, expected to complete in October 2024, and holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, along with a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Calgary and studies at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
