Arzan Balsara is a Senior Climate Action Specialist at the City of Richmond, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Balsara served as the Senior Sustainability and Energy Coordinator and the Sustainability and Energy Coordinator at the City of Port Moody from September 2021 to November 2023. Balsara's experience also includes working as an Energy Specialist for Northern Health - BC, where stakeholder engagement and sustainability initiatives were key responsibilities. Additional roles encompass energy and environmental support roles at Vancouver Coastal Health and provincial health services. Balsara's early experience includes positions at BC Housing in sustainability management and as a Co-Op student, as well as a service attendant at Coast Mountain Bus Company. Balsara holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from The University of British Columbia and an Advanced Certificate in Building Controls and Energy Management with Distinction from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
