Fred Lyn has a strong background in municipal government. Fred served as the Deputy Director of Engineering/Utilities and Environmental Services at the City of Rancho Cucamonga since July 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Utilities Division Manager at the same organization for almost 9 years. From January 2006 to September 2010, they worked as the Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Manager for the City of Pasadena. Before that, from September 2002 to December 2005, they were a Senior Management Analyst at the City of Claremont.
Fred Lyn attended UC San Diego from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the University of Southern California.
