Jim Faulkner, CGCIO, currently serves as the Director of Information Technology for the City of Port Orange since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Director of Information Technology for the City of Mount Dora from January 2019 to July 2023. Jim's extensive experience also includes serving as the Director of Geographic Information Systems for the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners from 2000 until January 2019, where responsibilities encompassed the development and maintenance of geospatial data to enhance efficiencies across various county departments and agencies, including the Sheriff's Office, 911 Dispatch, and local school boards. Earlier in Jim's career, positions included Director of Geographic Resources and Community Planning and Senior Programmer at Mark III Industries from 1994 to 2000. Jim holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University, as well as education from DeVry Institute of Technology.
